T-Shirt Contest

The band will be playing a number of new tracks each night including fan favourites ‘Jenny’, ‘Man on the Street’, ‘In a letter’, and ‘The Beast’.

To promote the tour, the band are giving away ‘Jenny’ and previously unreleased ‘Sitting In The Middle’ – which you can download from Music Glue: Imperial Leisure. Tickets are also available to order from here as well.

The T-shirts are part of the effort to raise funds for people in Haiti following the devastating earthquake of 12 January. They were modelled at the London Fashion Show by a bevy of celebs including Dame Shirley Bassey, The Saturdays, Ronnie Corbett and Kimberley Walsh out of Girls Aloud.

Not every slogan is super-serious or earnest.

Is it the t-shirt or the message?

Bumper stickers, slogans, mottos, t-shirts, sometimes a few words say a lot. And yes, a picture is worth a thousand words. While perusing some political news sites, I found an interesting ad and site for conservative t-shirts. Campaign buttons are fine around election time, but t-shirts are 365. Disclaimer: I have no association with nor am I employed with this t-shirt company. I just find the product interesting.

NFL = No Fun League

If there was any justice in the world (don't worry, there isn't), the NFL's complaint against the New Orleans T-shirt sellers would reach the Supreme Court.

It's a fun thing, and you know what happens to fun things in the NFL, sometimes called the No Fun League.

Action t-shirts are my favorite ones. What better way to take action then to wear a t-shirt that encourages some rock, paper, scissor..SHOOT with your friends.

Electronic Tees

We have seen many examples of Electroluminescent (EL) wires used to decorate clothing or bags by simply having some strings placed as contour and a light up in a flashing pattern. Cute at times but not very stylish most of the times.

Not so the design as shown above which is from the latest issue of MAKE, Volume 21 which includes a 8-page primer on how to use EL wires.
